Kathy Houston has a final interview with Mr. Joe Di Santo. This was a full circle moment, because the first episode of her "Inside Panorama" show was also with Mr. Di Santo. Kathy and he discuss his legacy. Mr. Joseph Di Santo was the president and CEO of Panorama from 1996-2016. Mr. Di Santo passed away peacefully at his home on August 16th, 2024. In his 20 years with Panorama, Mr. Di Santo (or “Mr. D”), left a legacy of excellence and hospitality. Much of what makes our community stand out in the industry came to be under his leadership. This includes the construction of the Aquatic & Fitness Center, Panorama Auditorium, and the current Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center. Beyond his impact on campus amenities and programming for residents, Mr. Di Santo had a deep sense of care and compassion for employees. This is evidenced by the Employee Assistance Fund he established in 1999. He stressed that Panorama’s most important asset is its employees, and he frequently stated that we must take good care of our employees so they can take good care of our residents.
