Now Where Were We: Olympia's Civic Core

Each month Deb Ross goes on location to film a sort video about local history. This episode finds her in Sylvester Park and at the adjacent intersection of Franklin and Legion. Here founder Edmund Sylvester reproduced a New England-style town common, with the city’s civic structures surrounding it. Many of these still exist today, and The Olympian newspaper office returned to the area in February of 2018. First aired May, 2018.
