The experience of dementia isn’t limited just to the families who are coping with it. Dementia is a humanitarian issue, the “disease of the century,” a crisis that affects our society as a whole. This presentation will challenge you to confront the social, medical, political, and ethical problems that make this condition unique, and to define how we might help ourselves to live better with it.
