Don Stern and his wife Betty moved to Panorama in 1995. He died in June of 2024 where he lived in Assisted Living. Don's cousin Dan Stern interviewed Don before he died. Don was a Doctor of Divinity he served on the national staff and overseas in Nigeria for many years. Betty, a teacher, also served as a purchasing agent for a hospital. Don, who retired in 1989, liked woodworking, gardening and genealogy. When he returned from Nigeria he brought with him rosewood, which he used to make beautiful furniture.
