Adria Thompson is a Speech Language Pathologist with a Master’s in Communication Disorders and the Founder and CEO of Be Light Care Consulting where their mission is to light the path and lighten the load of personal and professional caregiving. She provides personalized dementia services to caregivers, therapists and care communities of people with dementia. Session 1 - This session includes an overview of dementia, the different types and characteristics we might see in each. Adria also reviewed brain health and what you can do to help maintain your cognition and maybe slow the progression of dementia.
