The Surprising State of Washington is a film by the Washington State Department of Commerce, circa 1962. It's a promotional view of the state and looks at the variety of industries, resources, and recreation in Washington– from Boeing to Hanford, the timber and mining industries, and the wide range of recreation opportunities available in the state.
