History Talks - Incarceration Without Trial

2022 marks the 80th anniversary of Executive Order 9066 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordering the forcible incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. Kyle Kinoshita shares the experience of the incarceration and its aftermath through the eyes of Seattle family members. Photos and first-hand accounts help give a glimpse of what life was like during the incarceration, and how redress for this injustice was attained years later.
