Learning in Retirement Thelma Jackson - Blacks in Thurston County

Learning in Retirement Lecture Series presented Blacks in Thurston County with Thelma Jackson~ Thelma Jackson is a local Black Historian and longtime resident of the Lacey area. She is the author of Blacks in Thurston County Oral History Project 1950-1975, which aims to discover the issues that were facing Black people as they worked to build a life and a community in the Northwest. Dr. Thelma Jackson is a community activist and educator. Dr. Jackson presented in the Panorama Auditorium in June 2022. Thanks to the Panorama Auditorium staff for sharing this video.
