Jean Phillips interviews new neighbor Ellen, a native of Chicago and a biologist who has had a career in teaching and research, studing cave crickets in Monmouth and other area caves. Although only here seven months, she’s already settled in to one of her favorite things, water-walking at the pool every morning at 5:30.
