TVW Historic Washington - Legislative Rehabilitation Project

From 2001-2004, following the Nisqually Earthquake, Washington's legislative building was closed to the public for a massive rehabilitation project. Construction crews repaired damage from the quake attached the previously detached cylinder and dome to the lower building, replaced and modernized the 80-year-old utilities in the building, restored the sandstone mortar on the building's exterior, and much more.
