Panorama residents, Emily Ray and Jim Lengenfelder, and traveling companion, Diana Larsen-Mills, will show and tell you what they learned during their visit to the former Queen Charlotte Islands in the summer of 2024. Many miles of the
coast of British Columbia, these islands are in effect a “laboratory” where an ancient culture, almost exterminated, is rebuilding itself. All the expressive arts are resurging, and new treaties have helped to ensure cultural survival.
