Learning in Retirement - The Difference between Hospice and Palliative Care: January 16, 2025

You’ve probably heard the terms “palliative care” and “hospice” care when you or a loved one is facing serious illness. Both are meant to bring comfort and relief but they differ in some important ways. Dr. VandeKieft will help educate you of the differences to better decide what works best for you. Dr. Vandekieft is the Hospice Medical Director at Providence Sound Homecare and Hospice, as well as a Palliative Care Physician and Clinical Ethicist.
